A banner is usually needed for a date that will not move — a grand opening, a game, a sale that starts Saturday. That is why same-day matters more for banners than for almost anything else we print.
How same-day banner printing works
- Order before 12 PM, Monday to Friday. Earlier is safer — press time fills up.
- Send print-ready artwork. Our preflight checks size, resolution and bleed automatically and flags problems immediately.
- Approve the proof. You get a digital proof the same morning. Nothing prints until you say yes.
- Pick up by 5 PM at our Niles shop, or arrange local delivery.
No rush fee. Same-day is our standard turnaround at regular price — you are not paying a penalty for a deadline.

Who orders same-day banner
Grand openings and events. The date is fixed. A banner that arrives Monday is worthless for a Saturday opening.
Sales and promotions. Catch the traffic that is already driving past your building today.
Job sites and construction. Mesh banners on fencing let wind through and keep your name up while you work.
Sports and school events. Team banners, sponsor banners and step-and-repeat backdrops printed between practice and game day.
What “print-ready” actually means
This is the single thing that decides whether same-day happens. A file that needs rebuilding cannot be printed in four hours. Send us:
- PDF where possible — it carries fonts and layout reliably
- 300 DPI images at final print size (a photo pulled off a website is usually 72 DPI and will look soft)
- 0.125″ bleed — background color and images extending past the trim line
- Text kept 0.125″ inside the trim so nothing gets cut off
- CMYK color if you can; we will convert RGB, but colors can shift slightly
If any of that is unfamiliar, send what you have anyway. Our preflight catches these problems automatically and we fix simple ones free — we would rather spend ten minutes fixing your file than have you miss your date.

Same-day printing questions
Can I really get a banner printed the same day?
Yes. Order by 12 PM Monday through Friday with print-ready artwork and your banner is ready by 5 PM the same day. Larger runs or unusual sizes may take longer — call and we will tell you honestly.
Is there a rush fee for same-day banners?
No. Same-day is our normal turnaround at regular price. You are not paying a penalty for needing it today.
What file do you need for a same-day banner?
A PDF at full size (or a scaled version at correct proportions) with 300 DPI images and 0.125 inch bleed. JPG, PNG and AI also work. If your file needs fixing we will do it — that is free, and we will tell you before the clock runs out.
Do same-day banners come with grommets?
Yes. Every banner is hemmed and grommeted so it is ready to hang the moment you pick it up.
Can you deliver a same-day banner?
Pickup in Niles is fastest. Local delivery across Chicagoland is available same day depending on route and time of order — call to confirm before you order.
