Standard size: 33 × 80 inches
Almost every stand on the market uses a 33 inch wide graphic about 80 inches tall (the visible print is 31.5 × 80 in with the rest inside the base). That size fits doorways, elevators and car trunks, and it is tall enough to be seen over a crowd. Wider 36 and 48 inch stands exist but cost more to ship and replace.
What separates a good stand from a cheap one
- Base weight and feet. A base with swivel feet stays upright on uneven floors. Very light bases tip.
- Spring tension. The graphic should retract smoothly without curling. Cheap springs sag within a few shows.
- Pole type. Three-piece bungee poles set up faster and do not get lost.
- Replaceable graphic. Make sure the print can be swapped so you can reuse the hardware for the next campaign.

Print material
Look for a curl-resistant banner film or blockout vinyl with a matte or satin finish. Glossy films glare under show lighting. RaahSign prints on smooth, opaque stock so lights behind the stand do not show through.
Designing the graphic
- Top third does the work. Logo and headline go in the top 24 inches, where people look first.
- Keep the bottom 8 inches simple. That area sits near the base and is often blocked by a table. Use it for a web address or a pattern, not the offer.
- Use one image, large. A single strong photo or product shot beats a collage.
